Adeline is currently a final year medical student at the Perdana University-Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland School of Medicine in Kuala Lumpur.
Born in Peninsular Malaysia’s wettest town – Taiping, Adeline spent her school years in Penang, Perak, and Cambridge whereby she was awarded 13 GCSEs. In 2017, she graduated with a Diploma in Science from Sultan Idris Education University.
Adeline enjoys working with different people and gaining new skills. Her experience includes organising various events for Asian Medical Students’ Association-Perdana University (AMSA-PU) as Public Health Officer (2017/2018) and later as Secretary (2018/2019), and for Malaysian Medics International (MMI) Malaysia as IT Director (2020/2021).
Adeline enjoys exploring new things, having good conversations, and binging movies. She is also fond of Disney and Broadway – her favourites include Reflection from Mulan and For Good from Wicked.
Adeline speaks fluent English and Malay and is currently practicing her Mandarin in hopes of being able to communicate better with Chinese-speaking patients in the future.
Anu also has a passion for the performing arts, particularly drama, which she was introduced to during her school days. She loves spending her leisure time watching movies, trying out new recipes, and traveling. She wishes to combine her love for traveling and medicine and serve communities worldwide one day.
