On November 10, 2023, Perdana University and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) established a collaborative academic and research partnership, by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Perdana University.
Through the signing of this MoU, Perdana University and UniSZA will collaborate in academic programmes such as Doctor of Medicine (MD), the Diploma and Degree in Nursing Sciences, Degree/Master in Occupational Therapy, Diploma in Physiotherapy, postgraduate studies, Islamic Wealth Management and other areas.
The collaboration will also include the exchange of lecturers, visiting lecturers, and researchers between both universities. Additionally, both parties will collaborate to organise lectures, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and joint programme initiatives.
Furthermore, collaborative research activities, both published and unpublished, research findings publication, joint supervision of postgraduate theses, and student exchange programmes, including both short-term and long-term exchanges, are among the various cooperative efforts planned between Perdana University and UniSZA.
For the signing of the MoU, Perdana University was represented by Professor Dato’ Seri Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Ishak (Vice-Chancellor) and Mr. Noor Zaidi Mohd Noor (Registrar of Perdana University).
Meanwhile, UniSZA was represented by Professor Dato’ Dr. Fadzli bin Adam (Vice-Chancellor) and Prof. Dr. Zuhairah Ariff binti Abd Ghadas (Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Academic and International).
Attending the ceremony were Prof. Ts. Dr. Shukor bin Abd Razak (Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation of UniSZA), Prof. Dr. Harmy bin Mohamed Yusoff (Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of UniSZA), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Rohani binti Wan Taib (Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of UniSZA), as well as faculty members and staff from both institutions.
