About Perdana Science Journal
The Perdana University publishes an open access multi-disciplinary research Journal, entitled Perdana Science Journal. The journal will be published bi-yearly. Its editorial board strives to present the most important research results in areas within the scopes. The Journal aims to disseminate advancements in the broad fields of medical, health science, business science, behavioural science , education, data science, engineering, mathematical physical sciences, chemical sciences, life sciences and ICT. The Journal’s ultimate aim is to serve research perspectives.
To serve as the platform for the dissemination of significant research, Science, Technology and Research policy analyses, and research perspectives.
The Perdana Science Journal publishes advancements in the broad fields of medical, health science, business science, behavioural science, education, data sciences, engineering, earth, mathematical, physical, chemical, agricultural sciences and ICT. Scientific articles published will be on the basis of originality, importance and significant contribution to science, scientific research and the public.

Scientists who subscribe to the fields listed above will be the source of papers to the journal. Each published article will be reviewed by a minimum of two independent reviewers using a single-blind peer review process, where the identities of the reviewers are not known to the authors, but the reviewers know the identities of the authors. Articles will be screened for plagiarism before acceptance. The journal will be published twice in a year.
This publication considers original works that enhance the existing body of knowledge. Original review articles and surveys are acceptable, even if new data/concepts are not presented. Results described in the article should not have been submitted or published elsewhere. Expanded versions of conference publications may be submitted. Articles must be intelligible and must be written in standard English.
The acceptable Turnitin percentage is below 30% in the similarity report.
Categories of Articles
The following categories of articles will be considered for publication:
1) Research Papers
Each issue of the journal will contain no more than 10 research papers. The full-length manuscript presents an innovative idea in a complete way, suited for an archival journal, including a clear definition of the problem addressed, the goals, the literature background, the solution proposed, the theoretical proofs if applicable, the experimental results, the discussion and the comparisons with the literature and/or the practice. The papers should be limited to 6000 words in length, with not more than 100 cited references.
2) Short Communications
These are articles that report a simple innovative idea, focusing on a very specific aspect of the overall problem addressed; even though concise, the presentation should be complete and suited for an archival journal. These articles should be limited to 2000 words, up to 4 final published pages and not more that 40 cited references. Five (5) Short Communications will be accepted for publication in each issue of the journal.
3) Reviews/Commentaries/Survey/Tutorial paper
Each issue of the journal will also feature Reviews/Commentaries/survey/tutorial paper presenting overviews on aspects such as Scientific Publications and Citation Ranking, Education in Science and Technology, Human Resources for Science and Technology, R&D in Science and Technology, Innovation and International Comparisons or Competitiveness of Science and Technology etc. Reviews/Commentaries will encompass analytical views on funding, developments, issues and concerns in relation to these fields and not exceed 5000 words in length and 40 cited references. The Survey/Tutorial manuscript is a comprehensive survey of a field or an introductory tutorial on a specific fundamental area or an advanced topic.
