The Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Teaching English As A Second Language (TESL) [abbreviated as B.Ed. (Hons.) in TESL] degree is specifically designed to focus on Education of English as a second language (ESL) that emphasises on theories and approaches; with students having the opportunity to develop practical skills such as active listening and effective questioning. This course is also designed to help students think creatively and  critically, developing problem-solving skills that will enable  graduates to apply counselling and psychology to address a wide  range of personal, professional, and societal needs.

•A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects
•A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid
•A Diploma or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 •Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 v.      Other relevant or equivalent qualification, experience and requirement accepted by the HEP Senate/competent authority in Malaysia

English Requirements:

Pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of at least 550; OR the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a score of at least 6.0; or any equivalent qualification.
