Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences

PUGScM admitted its first batch of students in September 2011. Ninety students have enrolled with PUGScM and the first batch graduated at the Perdana University Inaugural Convocation on 25th September 2016.

These students have already embarked on their medical careers in various hospitals around the country and overseas.

The PUGScM curriculum incorporates current clinical trends and evidence based medicine with emphasis on research and innovation. It also covers all requirements of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and equips students with the skills and strategies to pass this exam. This is in tandem with our mission to provide an international educational model that supports intellectual discovery, nurtures creativity and embodies innovative knowledge.

Over the years, PUGScM has recruited some of the best academic faculty to provide outstanding education in an inclusive environment. The PUGScM experience is demanding, but it is also exceptionally rewarding and fulfilling. You will have an exciting journey as you discover your true potential and expand your horizon.

The principal objective is to train and educate medical students in accordance with the highest professional standards who will be able to identify and answer fundamental questions in the mechanisms, prevention and treatment of diseases, as well as to incorporate basic sciences in improving health care delivery.

The aim of the curriculum leading to the M.D. degree is to produce leaders in medicine who will take the foundation of a broad education in medicine to improve health through patient care, research, and education.
